Like Michael Jordan, one of the greatest athletes of all time who won six NBA rings, Alain Boghossian also made history in the Legends Trophy by getting his sixth title. The Frenchman beat Kenneth Perez by one stroke and Mista by two, while Gianfranco Zola and Andrei Shevchenko finished fourth and fifth respectively. Gerard López won the Handicap classification.

In addition to the aforementioned legends, other notable participants included Pep Guardiola, the tournament’s host, and other distinguished figures such as Michel Platini, Txiki Begiristain, Laurent Blanc, Roberto di Matteo, Pierre van Hooijdonk, Donato and Hamit Altintop, as well as two active footballers, Aleix Garcia and Luis Milla Jr.

The day before, a Pro-Am tournament was held with the presence of legends as well as other personalities and professional golfers. The winning team was led by Fran González, the former captain of the ‘Super-Depor’, who teamed up with ‘pro’ Carlos Gallardo and Pau Guerrero and Pedro Sarabia. The event featured the outstanding collaborations of the Primavera Sound festival and chef Nandu Jubany teams.
