More than 800 boys and girls came together at the Mar Bella sports complex in Barcelona to celebrate the Johan Cruyff Foundation Open Day.

The organisation has worked tirelessly over the past 14 years so that young people with disabilities are able to play and enjoy sport in a supportive environment.

Pep Guardiola helped out and actively took part with the children, playing wheelchair football, basketball and hockey. At the end of the event, he was part of the award ceremony handing out medals to all the participants.

Before the start of the sports day, the Johan Cruyff Foundation presented the special guests to their sponsors. These included, as well as Pep, the former footballer Carles Puyol, the ex FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, the businessman Jaume Roures and the president of the Damm Foundation, Ramón Agenjo.
