Pep Guardiola today visited boys and girls who are patients at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, alongside other players from his team such as the Brazilian stars Ederson and Gabriel Jesus.

The visit was organised by Manchester City FC and is a regular occurrence at Christmas when the children and their families get to spend some time with the manager. He shows a keen interest in the day-to-day intricacies of the work of the doctors and nurses.

«It is definitely one of the highlights of the year. It’s a very touching tradition. It’s wonderful to be able to be with these boys and girls at this very special time of year. I admire their bravery, their courage, their strength in facing the difficult times ahead as well as the extraordinary work of all the hospital staff», assures Pep.
