The fourth edition of the Puma Legends Trophy, the golf tournament starring former football players and led by Pep Guardiola, which this summer was held at Pula Golf Resort, on the island of Mallorca, has been a success once again.
The Puma Legends Trophy was won for the third consecutive year by French Alain Boghossian, world champion in 1998. Boghossian was the best in the scratch category, ahead of one of the most legendary debutants, Italian Gianfranco Zola, and Danish Kenneth Perez. In the handicap category, the winner was Albert Riera.
In the Pro-Am played on the first day, the victory went to Team Koeman, led by former Barça player and coach Ronald Koeman, who shared his team with his children, Ronald jr. and Tim, and professional golf player Pep Anglés. The Wembley hero enjoyed his premiere at the event.
Other outstanding former football players who took part were, for instance, Gabriel Batistuta, Aritz Aduriz, Ruud Gullit, Miquel Àngel Nadal, Bernd Schuster and Christian Panucci.
