«It is one of the happiest days of my life, a dream come true». 

This is how Àlex Roca opened his speech at the launch of his book «You set the limits » in which he details his experience of suffering cerebral palsy at only six months old and his inner thoughts along the journey to him becoming an exemplary sportsman.

The president of FC Barcelona Joan Laporta, who is also a friend of Alex, participated at the event and lauded great praise on the athlete. 

Pep Guardiola, book in hand, sent him a very moving video message from Manchester.

Àlex was accompanied by his partner Mari Carme, family members, friends and those who travelled alongside him during the difficult competition trials. Also present were former FC Barcelona players such as Carles Puyol and Roger Garcia, as well as Oriol Domènech, representing the Guardiola Sala Foundation.
