Kyle Walker was the big sensation of the new edition of the Partnership Trophy, the charity football tournament starring homeless organized by The Salvation Army with the collaboration of the Guardiola Sala Foundation. With his presence, the Manchester City and English National Team defender surprised the 220 participants from 30 teams from different The Salvation Army shelters, as Pep Guardiola and Erik ten Hag, coaches of City and United, and John Stones did in previous editions.
Walker chatted to players about their experiences of homelessness, watched the games, signed autographs and took a picture with all of them. The former Celtic and Wales striker John Hartson also attended the event.
The patrons Manel Estiarte, who accompanied Kyle Walker, and Pere Guardiola and Laura Guerra were the representatives of the Guardiola Sala Foundation, which, among other sty, provided a t-shirt, a cap and a reusable water bottle for each player and the Puma footballs for the tournament. Through its social media platforms, The Salvation Army thanked the Guardiola Sala Foundation its contribution to the tournament.
